March 2025 Latin America Champions Summit Recap
Lincoln just returned from an incredible time in Cuba, where he gathered with our Latin America Step Up to Life Champions for the Spring 2025 Summit. It was a week filled with training, testimonies, and a deep sense of mission as he equipped passionate leaders to share the Gospel more effectively in their nations.
Reaching the Maasai People with the Gospel (Africa)
The Maasai people, known for their vibrant clothing and remarkable jump dancing, number around 1 million and live in Kenya and Tanzania. In 2024 Pastor Jefferson Gathu, our Africa Hub Coordinator, identified a critical need: translate the Step Up to Life booklet into the Maasai language, Maa. This translation would open the door for relational, non-confrontational Gospel conversations with the Maasai people.
Africa Trip Recap | December 2024
Lincoln and I just returned from a gathering in Nairobi, Kenya with the 12 Step Up to Life African Champions, each of whom lead many other pastors and leaders throughout the continent. Fellowship of Christian Athletes—2024 Weekend of Champions
I had a wonderful time sharing SUTL in a breakout group at the FCA Weekend of Champions this month. 900 total students were in attendance and about 75 came to our session, with approximately 40 surrendering their lives to Christ!

Lincoln in the Bahamas
Ah, the Caribbean! Just that word conjures up sunshine, beaches, resorts, cruise ships and luxury. Our Executive Director, Lincoln Murdoch, recently returned from Abaco, an island in the Bahamas. The trip wasn’t what he expected!
Raising Champions in Guatemala & Cuba
Lincoln recently traveled to Guatemala to raises up new SULT Champions for that nation and conduct a SUTL Seminar, team teaching with Geovani, our Champion for that nation.
Trainings in Columbia
Lincoln recently traveled to Colombia to meet with leaders from a number of Latin American countries.
It was a great time of connecting and relationship building. He taught a seminar with leaders from six different nations in attendance!
Training Leaders in Cuba
Lincoln recently visited south to Cuba to work with a leader that he met four years earlier there.
Eduardo Leyva is a pastor and teaches leadership and evangelism for a number of years. He works with Action Cuba, a partnering ministry of Step Up To Life.
Lincoln & Nick in Nairobi, Kenya
Lincoln, along with SUTL's new Assistant Director Nick Bank, traveled to Nairobi, Kenya where they met with the SUTL Champions from all over Africa!
There were ten nations represented by the eleven in attendance! A Champion is a "Rep" so to speak...one who has been trained to represent our ministry and teach/preach/train others in the message and method of SUTL. Most have translated the booklet into their own primary languages and some secondary languages as well.
